In order to study the effect of Sangchoho, Beobjechoho aqua-acupuntrure on the arthritis induced by Freund´s Complete Adjuvants in rats, theaqua-acupuncture was inserted into the loci, of Blank several experimental items were measured and compared each other : that is, analgesic action, antiinflammatory action. Platelet. WBC. Total protein. Cholesterol. cholinesterase. RA test. CRP. ASLO. ESR and. LD test.
1. In analgesic effect it was effective significantly in SCH group, BCH group compared with the control group but sulpyrine did not show any significant.
2. In antiinflammatory effect it was effective significantly in SCH group BCH group compared with the control group, Especially BCH group showed most remarkable decrease.
3. Platelet was significantly decreased SCH group, BCH group compared with the control group, Especially, BCH group showed most remarkable decrease.
4. WBC was significantly decreased SCH group, BCH group compared with the control group, Especially. BCH group showed most remarkable decrease.
5. Total proteins was decreased in all sample groups but have not significance.
6. Cholesterol was decreased in all sample groups but have not signeficance.
7. Cholinesterase was decreased significantly in BCH group compared with the control group, but SCH group did not show any significant decrease.
8. RA test was control group and sample groups showed negative response in all.
9. In CRP test it was shown positive response in control group with 100% and SCH group, BCH group showed positive response with 62.5 %, 77. 8 %.
10. In ASLO test it was shown positive response in control group with 57.1 % but sample groups showed negative response in all.
11. ESR was increased in SCH group, BCH group as compared with control group but have not significance.
12. When SCH group smaller than BCH group, LD_(30) appeared high fatal dose.
According to the above result, it is concluded that sangchoho, Beobjechoho aqua-acupuncture showed the therapeutic effect of the adjuvant arthritis in rats. And it is suggested that further studies and research for clinical use be needed.
